PIEPIEPIEPIEPIEPIE

In honor of Thanksgiving, I decided to make some pies.

Not just any old pie... my mom's AWESOME pumpkin and apple-cranberry-ginger pies.

I'm big into the holidays, so pretty much Halloween to Christmas is my favorite time of year EVER. Needless to say, I'm a big fan of Thanksgiving, what with turkey and cranberry sauce and all.

Thanksgiving is a HUGE family holiday for me. Every year the Lynn tribe converges at my aunt's house in Connecticut. REALLY disappointed that I won't be there to see everyone this year (I'll be there in spirit, though.)

I decided to sooth my soul through the catharsis of baking, and this is what resulted...
Prep work!
KRISTI IS REALLY SUPER INTENSE ABOUT CUTTING UP APPLES!
When you don't have a rolling pin, use a beer. (Not mine, I swear!)
Kristi eating more apples than she puts in the pie.
Mmmm! Baking.
